Responsibilities

• Manage employees in the Receiving Clerk role in a working relationship with team members.
• Continuously look for process improvements to help the Receiving department become more efficient.
• Train and develop Receiving Clerks to ensure continuous improvement of staff.
• Operate a forklift (stand-up and sit-down) to unload trucks and receive product into inventory.
• Ensure accurate counts on receipts and communicate discrepancies promptly.
• Receive and sort inbound parcel shipments and deliver to other departments.
• Coordinate packaging and labeling improvements for received products.
• Replenish warehouse inventory as needed.
• Collaborate cohesively with other departments.
• Be flexible, cross-train, and adapt to change.

Primary Duties

• Management of employees in the Receiving Clerk role in a working relationship with those team members.
• Continuously look for process improvements to help the Receiving department become more efficient in their operations.
• Training and development of Receiving Clerks to ensure continuous improvement of staff
• Responsible for operating a forklift (stand-up and sit-down) to unload trucks, receive product into inventory, and put product into stock.
• Ensure accurate counts on receipts and timely communication of any discrepancies discovered.
• Responsible for receiving and sorting inbound parcel shipments and delivering those to other members of the business.
• Coordinate activities to maintain/improve packaging and labeling as it relates to products that are received.
• Responsible for replenishing inventory in the warehouse as needed.
• Work cohesively with other departments.
• Ability to be flexible, cross train, and adapt to change.

Education / Experience

• Experience in a Receiving department is preferred.
