Job summary

RHA Health Services in Antioch, Tennessee is seeking a Group Home Supervisor to lead Direct Support staff across three shifts. You will work closely with clinical teams to implement person-centered plans and ensure safety and quality of care.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, at least one year of experience with developmental disabilities, and on-call flexibility. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus; physical ability to assist residents is required.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Flexible schedule and on-call availability.
• Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs. and CPR after certification.
• CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees.
• Maintain communication with clinical staff and standardize procedures.
• Provide feedback and audits on medication administration.
• Resolve employee issues and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure training compliance and participate in required events.
• Monitor budget items and staff coverage across shifts.
• Provide after-hours/on-call coverage as part of the rotation.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Working closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures, and expediting the implementation of person-centered plans
• Spending adequate amounts of time in the residential facility monitoring and providing feedback to staff on all three shifts in interactions and relationships with people supported, maintaining harmony between employees clients while serving as a positive role model
• Provides audits for medication administration.
• Resolving employee issues and conducting performance reviews
• Ensuring that employees meet training requirements and attend required events
• Monitoring select budget items and staying within guidelines
• Monitoring and providing feedback to employees during all three shifts in interactions and relationships with the people supported
• Providing after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation

Minimum Qualifications

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 3 0 lbs. and occasionally pull at least 5 0 lbs.
• Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop as part of regular job duties.
• Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Required to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from floor level, which requires working on hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision.
• Must be able to talk and hear.
• Exception - Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs: For these programs only, employees must be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). The requirement to talk and hear does not apply.
