Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC seeks a Group Home Supervisor to coordinate Direct Support staff and manage operations across 1–3 facilities offering non-ICF services.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A valid driver’s license and insurance are required, with on-call rotation and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; college courses in Human Services, Social Work or Management preferred.
  • 1 year of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance
  • Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed
  • Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs and provide CPR after certification
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work with clinical and professional staff to maintain communication and implement person-centered plans
  • Monitor staff interactions and maintain harmony between employees and clients across all shifts
  • Resolve employee issues and conduct performance reviews
  • Ensure staff meet training requirements and attend required events
  • Monitor budget items and stay within guidelines
  • Provide afterhours and on-call coverage as part of direct care rotation

Group Home Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees and manages operations of 1-3 facility/facilities providing Non-ICF services. Leads and directs the work of Direct Support Associates and is responsible for the operations of the locations assigned to. Requires a high school diploma or GED and one year experience working with the population supported

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures, and expediting the implementation of person-centered plans
  • Spending adequate amounts of time in the residential facility monitoring and providing feedback to staff on all three shifts in interactions and relationships with people supported, maintaining harmony between employees clients while serving as a positive role model
  • Resolving employee issues and conducting performance reviews
  • Ensuring that employees meet training requirements and attend required events
  • Monitoring select budget items and staying within guidelines
  • Monitoring and providing feedback to employees during all three shifts in interactions and relationships with the people supported
  • Providing afterhours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation

Requirements

  • High School degree or GED required; college courses in Human Services, Social Work or Management, preferred

  • Drug testing
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required)
  • Positions that require driving Proof of driver’s license, driver’s insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
