Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. in Middlebury, CT is seeking a Group Home Program Counselor (DSP) to support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential setting.

You’ll help residents live safe, fulfilling lives while fostering independence and personal choice. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, supporting medical needs, following individualized plans, and encouraging community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CT Driver’s License required.
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines.
• Supporting medical needs and appointments.
• Following individualized support and behavior plans.
• Encouraging community involvement and social engagement.
• Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff).
• Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team.
