Job summary

The Arc of Central Alabama seeks a Group Home Manager to oversee residential operations, staff coordination, and service quality in a group home setting. You will ensure a safe, person-centered environment aligned with individualized supports and daily living needs.

Responsibilities include managing daily operations, staff coaching, and communication with families and providers to maintain stability, dignity, and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in human services or related field; equivalent HS Diploma/GED acceptable.
• Experience with individuals who have intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily group home operations, staffing, and home routines.
• Ensure individualized supports and residential services are implemented.
• Monitor documentation, schedules, and service quality; address issues.
• Coach and direct staff; resolve day-to-day problems and incidents.
• Coordinate with families, nurses, providers, and leadership to maintain safety and quality.
