Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. in West Haven, CT is seeking a hands-on Manager of Group Homes to lead compassionate care for residents with developmental disabilities. You will hire, train, and mentor staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure individualized support and safety in a residential setting.

You’ll collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to foster a positive home culture, promote independence, and deliver high-quality services that respect residents’ dignity and daily living needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two years related progressive experience and/or training.
• Two years progressive experience with developmental disability; one year supervisory.
• Education/experience variations reviewed individually.

About the Role

As a Manager of Group Homes, you’ll be the key leader in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, with varying levels of physical support needs, in a residential home setting. You’ll build and lead a compassionate, mission driven team by hiring, training, and mentoring like‑minded staff who share your passion for helping people live safe, fulfilling, and meaningful lives.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of daily operations, foster a positive home culture, and build trusting relationships that encourage independence, personal choice, and dignity. Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or two years related progressive experience and/or training.
• Two years of progressive experience working with people who have a developmental disability. One year must include supervisory responsibilities.
• Any other variation of education/experience will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Pay

• $21.84 – $22.40 per hour

Schedule

• Sunday – Thursday 40 Hours Flex
  • Must be available to be on-call
