Job summary

Sevita’s REM Community Services offers a mission-driven caregiving role supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll help participants with daily tasks, promote independence, and engage them in community activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants pursue community activities and personal goals.
• Promote budgeting, exercise, and nutrition as part of daily routines.
