Job summary

REM Community Services is seeking compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities across community settings. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help participants engage in meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support participants with complex needs.
• Help participants participate in community activities and daily routines.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build real, meaningful relationships and foster trust with participants.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure participant safety and wellbeing.
