Job summary

Sevita's REM Community Services in Bloomington, MN is seeking compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities and promote independence. You will help with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation, while building meaningful relationships with participants.

Two full-time shifts are available: M/W/F 3pm-9pm (plus every other weekend) and Tu/W/Th 3pm-10pm with EO Sa/Su 8am-8pm.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Must have valid Driver's License for at least 1 year post permit and a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting Sevita insurability policy
• Strong communication and empathetic interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and activities of daily living
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs
• Help participants pursue developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Encourage participation in community activities and social events

Wage $16 per hour and we have two full time open working:

M/W/F 3pm-9pm, Every Other Saturday & Sunday 8am-8pm

Tu/W/Th 3pm-10pm, EO Sa/Su 8am-8pm
