Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Group Exercise/Personal Trainer to deliver high-quality group fitness classes at the Wellness Center. CPR certification is required, and professionals should provide excellent customer service and safety supervision for members.

The role involves leading sessions, maintaining engaging instruction, and collaborating with the team to promote wellness and participation across all fitness programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CPR certification and be able to perform emergency procedures.
• Experience leading safe, engaging group fitness classes and providing quality member service.
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate members to participate.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and engaging group exercise classes for Wellness Center members.
• Ensure safety and well-being of class participants during sessions.
• Identify emergencies and respond quickly and appropriately.
• Keep teaching skills updated, motivational, challenging and enjoyable.
• Support colleagues by attending their classes or substituting when needed.
