Job summary

Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeks a group exercise instructor to deliver instructor-led programming for members and guests. A Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or health-related field is preferred.

Lead land-based and aquatic classes, plan and choreograph routines, demonstrate exercises, ensure safety, record attendance and hours, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment. Regularly meet with the program coordinator and participate in annual evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in exercise science or health-related field.
• 6 months related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Leads group exercise classes for members and guests.
• Plan and choreograph land-based and aquatic classes.
• Instruct and demonstrate exercises and use of equipment.
• Prepare for class prior to start; store equipment afterward.
• Maintain a safe exercise environment and report unsafe conditions.
• Record attendance and hours; keep orderly records.
• Meet with program coordinator regularly; annual evaluation.
