Fitness Instructor - Group Exercise Classes in a Senior Living Community!

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Fitness Instructor / Specialist to lead scheduled group exercise classes aimed at maintaining positive fitness levels for residents in a senior living community in Andover, MA. As part of our Senior Living Team, you will play a vital role in our continuum of care.

The Fitness Instructor will teach 4+ classes per week at Brightview, North Andover Senior Living Community:

• Tuesday - 9:30am
• Thursday - 9:30am
• Friday - 9:30am
• Friday - 10:30am

Additional classes may be available on a per diem basis at this location, with potential coverage on Mondays at Brightview, Concord River in Billerica, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Lead scheduled group exercise classes focusing on flexibility, cardio, strength/power, balance, and standing exercises for senior residents.
• Design fitness classes to promote positive fitness levels among seniors.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Fitness Instructor or equivalent from an accredited organization such as ACSM, NSCA, ACE, IDEA, or SFA.
• OR
• Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with experience leading group fitness classes for adults/seniors.
