BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Group Fitness Instructor to lead scheduled classes for residents in senior living communities in the Green Valley area. Classes emphasize strength, balance, and condition-specific training to support older adults' health.

The role is per diem, with Thursday morning sessions, and offers opportunities to contribute to a continuum of care and grow within a values-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Fitness Instructor through an accredited national organization (ACSM/NSCA/ACE/IDEA/SFA) is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience as a group fitness instructor, preferably with senior services.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

• Lead scheduled group exercise classes for seniors in living communities (flexibility, cardio, strength, balance, standing exercises).
• Develop fitness classes to promote positive fitness levels for a senior population.

Per Diem - Senior Living - Group Fitness Instructor

Thursday Classes - 9am and 10am

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Group Fitness Instructor to lead scheduled group exercise classes and wellness programs designed to develop and maintain positive fitness levels for residents in senior living communities (Assisted Living Facilities and Independent Living Facilities) in the Green Valley area. The classes will focus on strength, balance, and condition-specific training (such as for Parkinson's or dementia care) to support older adults' health.

Fitness Specialist Benefits Responsibilities:

• Lead scheduled group exercise classes for the residents of Senior Living Communities, preferably one that can teach flexibility, cardio, strength/power, balancing and standing exercises.
• Develop fitness classes which are designed to develop and promote positive fitness levels for a senior population.

Qualifications for a Fitness Specialist:

• Certification as a Fitness Instructor, or equivalent, through an accredited national exercise/fitness organization such as ACSM, NSCA, ACE, IDEA or SFA.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a group fitness instructor, preferably in a senior services setting.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
