Qualifications

  • Group Fitness Certification (ACE or equivalent) required within 3 months of hire.
  • 2+ years of experience, preferably with older adults.
  • Knowledge of injury prevention, emergency procedures, and group fitness best practices.

Group Fitness Instructor

Murano is currently searching for a Group Fitness Instructor who is familiar with group fitness program development, planning and instruction of group fitness classes/activities including aquatic group fitness classes.

Our Group Fitness Instructors:

  • Support community wellness goals and perform other duties as needed

If you’re someone with:

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Group Fitness Certification (ACE or equivalent) within 3 months of hire
  • 2+ years of experience, preferably with older adults
  • Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of injury prevention, emergency procedures, and group fitness best practices

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
