Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to lead classes for employees, patients, and community members. You will work under supervision to create a welcoming, safe exercise environment and tailor workouts to different fitness levels.

The role requires a high school diploma and a nationally accredited certification (ACE, ACSM, AFAA, Yoga Alliance, or equivalent). You will educate participants on form and anatomy and help maintain a clean, well-equipped studio.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with leading group fitness classes and ensuring participant safety.
• Ability to educate participants on proper form and movement modifications.
• Comfort with a diverse population and varying fitness levels.

Responsibilities

• Helps lead safe, effective group exercise classes to improve participant health.
• Educates participants on proper form, anatomy, and modifications for safety.
• Ensures participants' safety while using fitness equipment.
• Adapts classes to meet varying fitness abilities so all benefit.
• Maintains cleanliness of the group fitness studio to uphold a positive reputation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
