Power Wellness is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to lead safe, engaging classes at West Wood Health & Fitness Center. You will teach scheduled group sessions, modify for different fitness levels, and maintain certifications.

The role requires a group exercise instructor credential, CPR/AED within 90 days, and at least two years of experience teaching diverse styles. A professional, friendly demeanor and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Group exercise instructor certification is required.
• NCCA accredited certification preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching various group fitness styles.

Responsabilités

• Teach scheduled group exercise classes with modifications for varying fitness levels.
• Provide safe and effective exercise approaches by understanding contraindicated movements.
• Maintain current industry certifications and meet continuing education requirements.
• Ensure timely arrival for setup and leave area clean after class.
• Record participation numbers after each class and communicate equipment needs to supervisor.
