The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a part-time certified group fitness instructor to lead diverse classes including Step, Stretch & Balance and Barre/Pilates. Evening and weekend shifts are available, with hourly pay of $15–$25.

You will inspire members, model healthy living, and deliver engaging workouts while maintaining safety and high service standards. YMCA certification or national certification is required.

Formación

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise certification with experience or National certification.
• Experience with teaching: Step, Stretch & Balance; and Barre/Pilates.
• Exhibit strong leadership skills and a passion for member service and excellence in service.

Responsabilidades

• Set an example of healthy living and personal fitness.
• Prepare routines and/or choreography within YMCA standards.
• Provide support and encouragement to members and reinforce healthy lifestyles.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of members and staff. Notify supervisor of any safety hazards or concerns within the facility.
• Provide excellent service to all members and notify supervisor of member needs, supplies or other items needed to ensure program quality and member satisfaction.
• Ensure that safe movement and technique is utilized by every member in all classes.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and maintain records on any incidents.
