The YMCA of the North is seeking certified Group Fitness Instructors to lead engaging fitness classes, ensuring a safe and positive environment for members. The YMCA is seeking certified Group Fitness Instructors who are experienced in BodyPump (Les Mills), Group Active (MOSSA) or other strength formats (Studio Strength & Cardio, Tabata, Boot Camp, etc)!

Nationally recognized Group Fitness Instructor Certification is required.
The pay range for this position is $16.00-18.75 per hour, depending on experience.
1. Job Summary:
The Group Fitness Instructor instructs quality group fitness classes, provides excellent customer service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

This position reports to the Program Manager who reports to the Director of Healthy Living. The incumbent works closely with the other instructors, supervisor, member services, and building/maintenance staff. The incumbent should address members by name and encourage participation in activities.
