Job summary

EōS Fitness in Thousand Oaks seeks an energetic Group Fitness Instructor dedicated to fostering a vibrant community. This role includes answering participant questions, managing class schedules, ensuring studio cleanliness, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

The ideal candidate will possess a nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification and a valid CPR/AED Certification. We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $17.87 to $55, plus comprehensive benefits including health insurance, personal training discounts, and 401(k) matching.

Job description

Location: Thousand Oaks, N Moorpark Rd /W Hillcrest

Position Overview

Core Purpose: To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners.

Essential Purpose: Engage and wow our members in every class by creating a sense of community with a fun results focused group workout where everyone feels successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer questions and concerns of participants.
• Solicit feedback about the class.
• Be dependable and consistent in class schedule starting and ending times.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward members, while promoting the gym and Group Fitness classes.
• Maintain Group Fitness Studio cleanliness.
• Perform building and equipment maintenance and safety duties.
• Engage in continuing education.
• Ensure timeliness and effective class management.
• Monitor class size and manage space effectively.
• Report safety incidents and injuries promptly.

Required Certifications

• Must have a nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification.

Pay Range

$17.87 - $55 USD per hour.
