Crunch Fitness - JFF North America in Spartanburg, SC is hiring a Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and effective classes that motivate members while creating a fun and inclusive environment.

You will maintain all mandatory education and certification requirements, deliver classes according to Crunch format guidelines, address member requests, and uphold a professional disposition. Crunch offers training, development, and strong earning potential in a dynamic, diverse team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of group fitness experience required.
• Experience leading multi-level exercise classes for participants of all fitness levels.
• Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education and certification requirements.
• Understand and follow all policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in alignment with the Crunch mission statement.

• Attend Crunch Instructor training and deliver classes according to Crunch class format guidelines.

Certifications

• General Class Formats: Nationally accredited group fitness certification required (ACE, AFAA, or NASM).
• Specialty Class Formats (Barre, Group Cycling, Pilates, TRX, Yoga, Zumba, etc.): Valid format-specific certifications recognized and accredited by the organizations above.
  • Crunch does not accept Les Mills, Mossa, Beach Body, Insanity, or other pre‑choreographed formats.
• CPR/AED certification required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to adjust and operate all club equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and engage in physical activity, including lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing/walking.
