Job summary

Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor who can deliver high-energy, inclusive group classes and help members reach their fitness goals. You will build strong relationships and ensure a quality class experience from warm-up to cool-down.

Responsibilities include motivating instruction, tracking attendance, and staying connected with leadership. Certifications and CPR are required; a free gym membership is included as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels (bootcamp, Zumba, HIIT, etc.).
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification required (AFAA/ACE/NASM preferred).
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to create high-energy, engaging class environments.

• Respond with care to member issues related to classes.
• Accurately track class attendance numbers.
• Participate in weekly emails and monthly Zoom meetings.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about becoming a part of our club members fitness journey and providing a great group fitness class experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will deliver a superior group exercise class and fitness experience. The Instructor will get to know our members and become a part of their journey to ensure that their class experience and fitness expectations are met. This position is pivotal in allowing Crunch to achieve our vision “to be the best place to work, and workout.”

• Delivers high-energy, inclusive classes members love, consistently hitting format standards while adding personal flair to boost attendance and retention.
• Builds genuine member relationships—learning names, goals, and preferences—to keep them motivated and connected to their fitness journey.
• Creates a fun, professional experience from warm‑up to cool‑down, showing up prepared/on‑time and owning performance every class.
• Communicates reliably with leadership, supports club culture through teamwork, and continuously grows via trainings while embodying the Undefeated Tribe values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver motivational instruction during the member Class-ic Group Fitness experience
• Helping members achieve their goals on their fitness journey
• Respond with care to any member issues concerning group fitness classes
• Assist with accurately tracking class attendance numbers
• Participate and be engaged with weekly emails, monthly ZOOMs
• Attend the quarterly staff meeting for onsite training and new quarter class roll out
• Be involved with the instructor portal and social media for any updates and brand promotions

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels required (ie bootcamp based classes, Kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, Sculpt, Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, POUND, and HIIT)
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification required (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred)
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to provide a high energy class environment
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking
