Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe is looking for a Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about guiding members through their fitness journey with engaging, high-energy classes.

You’ll deliver top-notch group workouts, build member relationships, and contribute to a vibrant club culture while supporting ongoing training and brand promotions. This role offers growth in a nationally expanding franchise with a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM) required.
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to provide a high energy class environment.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver motivational instruction during member group fitness classes.
• Help members achieve their fitness goals on their journey.
• Respond with care to member issues concerning group fitness classes.
• Accurately track class attendance numbers.
• Participate in weekly emails and monthly ZOOMs.
• Attend quarterly onsite staff training and new class rollouts.
• Engage with instructor portal and brand promotions on social media.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about becoming a part of our club members fitness journey and providing a great group fitness class experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will deliver a superior group exercise class and fitness experience. The Instructor will get to know our members and become a part of their journey to ensure that their class experience and fitness expectations are met. This position is pivotal in allowing Crunch to achieve our vision “to be the best place to work, and workout.”

• Delivers high-energy, inclusive classes members love, consistently hitting format standards while adding personal flair to boost attendance and retention.
• Builds genuine member relationships—learning names, goals, and preferences—to keep them motivated and connected to their fitness journey.
• Creates a fun, professional experience from warm-up to cool-down, showing up prepared/on-time and owning performance every class.
• Communicates reliably with leadership, supports club culture through teamwork, and continuously grows via trainings while embodying the Undefeated Tribe values.

• Attend the quarterly staff meeting for onsite training and new quarter class roll out
• Be involved with the instructor portal and social media for any updates and brand promotions

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels required (ie bootcamp based classes, Kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, Sculpt, Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, POUND, and HIIT)
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification required (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred)
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to provide a high energy class environment
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
