Plus One, an Optum company, is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to teach a Pilates Mat class at our fitness center in Quincy, MA. Availability is needed on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12-2pm EST.

The role involves creating engaging formats, motivating participants, and offering movements for all levels, with opportunities to cover classes at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate and CPR/AED certification (no online CPR/AED accepted).
• Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
• Must communicate professionally and engage participants as a public speaker.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging class formats with playlists.
• Increase class attendance and adapt movements for all levels.
• Provide class coverage at multiple Quincy locations.

We are looking for Group Fitness Instructors who are available Wednesday and Thursday between 12-2pm EST.

• Develop effective, engaging, and motivating class formats accompanied by fun and appropriate playlists.
• Have a passion for client results by building class attendance and offering alternative movements to accommodate all levels of fitness.

Requirements

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate, specialty class license (i.e. Zumba®, etc.) and current CPR /AED certification (no online CPR/AED certification accepted).
• Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable about the industry with the customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients, guests, and participants.
• Must communicate professionally using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and relay information to and from clients/guests.
• Ability to effectively engage participants as a public speaker.
• Competent with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $46. Plus One, an Optum Company, adheres to all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws as applicable.
