Job summary

D1 TRAINING is seeking a dedicated D1 Coach to motivate athletes at our Novi location. You will deliver high-energy workouts and tailor programs to individual needs. The role necessitates a strong commitment to inclusivity and performance, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification and relevant training expertise. This position offers competitive salary, bonuses based on performance, and opportunities for continued education.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a training setting.
• Valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Certification should be accredited by NCCA.

Responsibilities

• Foster a high-performance environment for athletes.

• Assess athletes and align them with the proper program.
• Provide guidance on strength, speed, and nutrition.

As a D1 Coach, you’ll be the catalyst for every athlete’s success. You’ll foster a motivating environment, deliver high-energy workouts, and tailor programming to meet individual needs. Whether coaching group classes or personal training sessions, you’ll help athletes of all backgrounds build strength, speed, and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, high-performance environment for all athletes.
• Coach group workouts, personal training sessions, and teams.
• Modify and adapt movements to suit individual needs and goals.
• Assess and align each athlete with the proper program.
• Deliver expert guidance on strength, speed, and nutrition.
• Teach proper form and technique to reduce injury risk.
• Build strong relationships and maintain regular contact with athletes.
• Support athletes of all backgrounds, including youth, adults, and female athletes.

Qualifications

• Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
• Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA
• Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting
• Has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred)
