D1 TRAINING in Novi, Michigan is seeking a D1 Coach to empower athletes of all backgrounds through tailored training and mentorship. The role involves fostering a high-energy environment where individuals build strength and confidence.

Qualified applicants should have a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification and at least one NCCA-accredited certification. Candidates with a passion for inclusivity and coaching youth and women are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary

As a D1 Coach, you’ll be the catalyst for every athlete’s success. You’ll foster a motivating environment, deliver high-energy workouts, and tailor programming to meet individual needs. Whether coaching group classes or personal training sessions, you’ll help athletes of all backgrounds build strength, speed, and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, high-performance environment for all athletes.
• Coach group workouts, personal training sessions, and teams.
• Modify and adapt movements to suit individual needs and goals.
• Assess and align each athlete with the proper program.
• Deliver expert guidance on strength, speed, and nutrition.
• Teach proper form and technique to reduce injury risk.
• Build strong relationships and maintain regular contact with athletes.
• Support athletes of all backgrounds, including youth, adults, and female athletes.

Qualifications

• Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
• Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA
• Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting
• Has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred)
