Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a motivated Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) to lead diverse classes in a high-energy Crunch Fitness environment in Houston. You will guide members and guests through safe, effective workouts while maintaining energy and professionalism.

Certification in CPR/AED and relevant aerobics credentials are required, with ongoing education supported by the club. The role emphasizes energetic instruction, strong member relations, and adherence to Crunch policies.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred); Yoga or Pilates certifications acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Instruct a variety of group exercise classes.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercises.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the training rooms.
• Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior.
• Always maintain professional disposition.
• Build a supportive and motivating rapport with members and guests.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Actively promote other group fitness classes and personal training programs.
• Attend all required club/team meetings.

The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) is the face our Group Fitness team. The GFI will lead members in a group environment through safe and effective fitness classes. They will teach exciting and challenging Group Fitness classes for Crunch Fitness members and guests. He or she will exhibit a passion for small group class-based training and maintain a high level of energy for class attendees.
