Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater is seeking a PRN group fitness instructor to deliver innovative, results-based classes that support member health and wellness goals. The role emphasizes safety, motivation, and a welcoming studio environment.

You will demonstrate exercise science knowledge, create safe and engaging spaces, screen participants for health conditions, provide form corrections and exercise modifications, cue across learning styles, build relationships, and foster a welcoming

Education

Essential:

• HS Graduate or Equivalent GED

Credentials

Essential:

• CPR/BLS within 90 days

• Certified and/or licensed to teach the specific formats needed (AFAA, ACE, ASCM, NETA, etc.). Instructors teaching licensed/branded formats (e.g. Zumba, Les Mills) must also be trained and licensed to teach those specific formats.

Experience

Essential:

• Minimum of one year teaching experience actively leading successful group fitness classes.
