Job summary

Carol Stream Park District seeks a Group Exercise Instructor to lead classes at Fountain View Fitness Center. You will design and present group exercise programs aligned to goals for participants, with precise class formats and safe execution.

Requires a nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM) and CPR/AED & First Aid certification (provided). Auditions will be required; minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification required.
• Auditions will be required to join classes.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required (and provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead and modify group exercise classes at Fountain View Fitness Center.
• Ensure safety and proper technique during sessions.

Salary & Benefits

• Starting at $25.00/hour - $27.00 (depending upon experience).

Days & Hours

• Part-time position(employees do not work more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year).

- Aqua Fitness and Dance Fitness classes are available immediately.

- Subbing hours per availability.

Job Summary
