Job summary

Foothills Park & Recreation District is seeking a Group Exercise Fitness Instructor to design, implement, and lead safe, engaging group fitness classes for participants of varying fitness levels. This role emphasizes creating enjoyable sessions and promoting healthy lifestyles within the community.

Qualified applicants will have prior group exercise instruction experience, a current group fitness certification, CPR/AED, and First Aid (preferred).

Qualifications

• Prior experience in instruction of group exercise fitness classes.
• Current Group Fitness Certification from an accepted national certifying organization and must be maintained through Continuing Education Credits (CEC’s) as required.
• Possession of current certifications in CPR/AED required.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and lead safe, effective, and enjoyable group fitness classes for recreation center participants of various fitness levels.
• Design activities and modify programs to accommodate participants of all abilities.

Position: Group Exercise Fitness Instructor

Pay Rate: $22.75 /hour

Foothills Park & Recreation District is seeking a highly motivated Group Fitness Instructor with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. Our Fitness Instructors are responsible for designing, implementing, and leading safe, effective, and enjoyable group fitness classes for recreation center participants of various fitness levels. If you are personable, friendly, dedicated, and passionate about fitness and changing lives - this role is for you!

Required Experience:

• Prior experience in instruction of group exercise fitness classes.


• Current Group Fitness Certification from an accepted national certifying organization and must be maintained through Continuing Education Credits (CEC’s) as required.


• Possession of current certifications in CPR/AED required.


• First Aid certification preferred.
