Job summary

The City of Blue Ash Recreation Department is seeking energetic Group Fitness Instructors to lead multiple classes of varying levels. This independent contractor role focuses on motivation, relationship-building, and helping participants achieve goals while having fun.

In addition to teaching, instructors receive a free individual membership to the Blue Ash Recreation Center with eligibility and discounts for family members.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CPR/AED certification.
• Must possess current group fitness instructor certification or equivalent.
• Must possess current liability insurance.
• Prior experience with Group Fitness Instruction preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt workouts to accommodate diverse participant needs.
• Flexible schedule desired, as class times vary and may include weekends.

Job description

The City of Blue Ash Recreation Department is seeking Group Fitness Instructors who can teach multiple group fitness classes ranging in variety and level. The instructor must be high energy, motivating, and a relationship builder who will help others achieve their goals through exercise while having fun.

This is an independent contractor position and will remain open until filled.

Group Fitness Instructors will enjoy a free individual membership to the Blue Ash Recreation Center with eligibility and discount for family members.

Salary: $20-$40 per group fitness class. Rate is based on length of class and type of class.
