Job summary

The Cloverleaf Recreation Center in Lodi, Ohio is seeking independent contractor Group Fitness Instructors to lead and teach a variety of classes. Compensation is $20 per group fitness class with $2.00 for each additional drop-in.

The role requires a current CPR/AED certification and an active group fitness instructor credential. Responsibilities include designing and leading engaging workouts, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and collaborating with the fitness team to deliver

Qualifications

• Must hold CPR/AED certification and an active group fitness instructor credential.
• Experience leading diverse group fitness classes is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

The Cloverleaf Recreation Center is seekingGroup Fitness Instructors. This position will be responsible for leading and teaching group fitness classes. This position will have the opportunity to lead multiple group fitness classes that range in variety and levels at the Recreation Center.This is an independent contractor position and will remain open until filled.
Salary: $20 per group fitness class. $2.00 per additional drop-in.

• Design and lead engaging group fitness classes, incorporating a variety of exercises and appropriate modifications.
• Ensure safe and inclusive environments for all fitness levels.
• Provide personalized attention, motivation, and feedback to class participants
• Collaborate with the fitness team to maintain innovative and high-quality group fitness classes

Typical Qualifications

• Must possess current CPR/AED certification
• Must possess current group fitness instructor certification or equivalent with experience
• Prior experience with Group Fitness Instruction preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt workouts to accommodate diverse participant needs
• Flexible schedule desired, as class times vary and may include weekends
