The Country Club of Birmingham is seeking motivated fitness instructors to join our team as contractor staff. You will deliver diverse group classes and create customized programs, guiding members toward nutrition and exercise goals in a welcoming, professional setting.

We value certifications from ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or Cooper Clinic, along with liability insurance and strong communication skills. Training and career growth opportunities are available within a golf and racquets

Qualifications

• Current nationally accredited group fitness/personal trainer certification required.
• Valid liability insurance required.
• Experience in fitness assessments, group exercise or personal training required.
• Ability to adjust and operate fitness equipment required.
• CPR/AED certification a plus.
• Four-year degree in kinesiology, sports medicine, or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic salesmanship principles.
• Motivation, energy, and enthusiasm, with a desire to succeed.
• Individual and team contributor.

Responsabilités

• Provide customized fitness programs to members.
• Educate and guide on nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, and resistance training.
• Help members achieve health and wellness goals.
• Build relationships with clients and motivate them.
• Conduct fitness assessments and adjust programs as needed.
• Operate and adjust fitness equipment as required.

Job Details: Job Location: 3325 COUNTRY CLUB RD 500 - BIRMINGHAM, AL 35213, Position Type: Contractor, Seeking a qualified professional to provide customized fitness programs to the customer that include education and guidance on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and other programs to help the member achieve their health and wellness goals.

Pay Rate: $60 per class

The Country Club of Birmingham is looking to add motivated, professional group fitness instructors to our team!

We’re looking or instructors who teach:

• All formats – dance, Bodypump, kettlebell, cardio, mobility, yoga, cycle, etc.
• Have a positive, professional attitude.
• Are passionate about coaching and building relationships
• Hold a nationally ranked group fitness certification
• Are dependable and motivated
• Enjoy working with people of all ages

Successful Candidates will have:

Racquets and golf environment activity a plus. Compensation based on a total revenue generated per month, paid a % of total.
