Job summary

Taymax Group, LP operates Planet Fitness clubs and seeks a dedicated trainer in Vacaville, CA. You will lead the PE@PF group fitness program, assist new members, and design simple workouts while instructing proper equipment use.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Personal Training Certification from a preferred association (IFA, ACE or NCSF) is required.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize members with the facility and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and follow the schedule.
• Consult with members on fitness goals and provide motivation.
• Instruct members on proper and safe equipment use.
• Create bi-weekly exercise updates and a varied routine.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and traffic.
• Assist at the front desk with calls, sign-ups, tours, and member checks.
• Participate in daily cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Respond to member questions professionally and escalate to management when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
