Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a dedicated Fitness Trainer to lead group fitness activities and guide members toward their health goals in a welcoming, Judgement Free Zone. You will develop class schedules, demonstrate proper use of equipment, and support members on their fitness journeys with enthusiasm and professionalism.

You will also assist with member tours, check-ins, and maintaining a clean, safe workout environment in a fast-paced club setting.

Qualifications

6–12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

Create a class schedule for members, including Orientation and DYOP.
Proactively engage with members on the club floor regarding fitness goals and guide proper equipment use.
Promote the Judgement Free Zone by assisting and supporting members on their fitness journeys.
Conduct periodic walks of fitness areas to ensure a great member experience and address issues promptly.
Make prospective member calls and tours to assess membership needs and offer Trainer services.
Greet members and assist with inquiries at check-in and on the phone.
Maintain cleanliness of exercise areas and restrooms per schedule.
