Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Fitness Trainer to operate the PF group fitness program and guide members toward their goals in a welcoming, Judgement Free Zone. You will create class schedules, conduct orientations, and support members on the club floor while upholding PF policies.

The position emphasizes customer service, safety, and teamwork, with opportunities for CPR certification and ongoing training. Benefits and growth are available for eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members, including Orientation and Develop your own program (DYOP).
• Proactively engage with members on the club floor to discuss fitness goals and demonstrate equipment use.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members and offering support in their fitness journeys.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience and address issues quickly.
• Make prospect member calls and tours to assess membership needs and offer Trainer services.
