Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking a Group Facilitator to join the Proteus IPAEP team and help advance our mission in Western Massachusetts. The position is on-site in Ware, Athol, and Springfield, MA, with responsibilities including overseeing intervention groups and conducting intake assessments.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years in social services; familiarity with domestic violence issues; certification in a Batterer Intervention Program can be

Qualifications

• Familiarity with domestic violence issues (required).
• Strong written documentation skills on computer platforms (required).
• Spanish speaking applicants and minorities encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing intervention groups that work to change beliefs and attitudes of abusive people weekly.
• Conducting intake assessments of individuals served.
• Ensuring assessments, notes, completions and terminations are kept up to date.
• Communicating with Victim Advocates and Survivor Leadership Council.
• Providing data and informational trends to Survivor Leadership Council and supervision team.
