Job summary

Parents and Children Together in Wailuku, Hawaii seeks a Group Facilitator to lead domestic violence or child sex abuse groups, incorporating counseling activities and skill development. The role reports to the Program Supervisor and requires a strong commitment to safety and support for families.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field and at least two years of relevant experience supporting families affected by violence or abuse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Two years’ experience working with families who have experienced domestic violence, child abuse or neglect, or related issues.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates domestic violence and/or child sex abuse groups with activities for counseling and skill development.
• Under supervision of the Program Supervisor, coordinates group sessions and tracks attendance and data.
• Behaves in a manner that supports the agency’s mission and adheres to policies.
• Contributes to planning and preparation for intervention groups.
• Completes individual assessments for group participants and records data in eHana as required.
• Ensures safety of victims/survivors and children.
• Maintains accurate records and timely data entry for enrolled clients.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings as designated.

Education
