Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Clarksville, IN is hiring a full-time Group Facilitator for our Detox and Residential treatment facility. You will lead group therapy, provide psychoeducation, and support clients with coping skills and recovery tools in a collaborative clinical team.

The role requires Indiana licensure or an addiction counseling credential and at least one year in the treatment field; if in recovery, sobriety of at least one year is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana clinical license or addiction counseling credential (CADAC I-V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, or LMFT).
• Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in this state.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence and sound judgement.
• Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client's challenges and needs
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to keep track of client challenges and progress
• Escalate any significant client concerns to Clinical Director
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting is completed
