Job summary

1017 N Olive LLC in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Part-Time Group Facilitator to lead structured therapeutic group sessions within a mental health treatment setting. You will deliver evidence-based group interventions under the supervision of the Clinical Director, foster a safe environment, and help clients progress toward treatment goals.

This role requires a High School Diploma and CPR/First Aid, with CPI or de-escalation training a plus.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.
• CPI or de-escalation training is preferred.
• Relevant certification in mental health or substance use is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field is preferred.
• Prior experience facilitating groups in behavioral health or substance use settings is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and group management skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate scheduled group therapy sessions in accordance with program curriculum and clinical guidelines.
• Create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for client participation.
• Implement psychoeducational and process groups focused on mental health, coping skills, relapse prevention, and emotional regulation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of group sessions, attendance, and client participation.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor client behavior during groups and report any concerns to clinical leadership.
• Uphold all company policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA).
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision as required.
• Support overall program operations as needed.
