Job summary

Painted Grove Recovery in Louisville, KY is seeking a Group Facilitator to support patients in their recovery journey. You will lead group psychoeducation sessions, provide structure during sessions, and collaborate with the Treatment Team to ensure compassionate, evidence-based care.

The role requires a BS/BA or higher in a relevant field and 2+ years of clinical experience, ideally in addiction treatment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a clinical role preferred.
  • Experience in chemical dependency or addiction treatment preferred.
  • US work authorization required.
  • Passion for substance abuse recovery and helping patients reach potential.
  • Commitment to a drug‑free lifestyle and responsible use.

Responsibilities

  • Present skills and information to support patients in their recovery journey.
  • Conduct group psychoeducation sessions with fidelity to the curriculum.
  • Contribute to Treatment Team meetings as needed.
  • Work cooperatively with treatment teams and staff.
  • Provide structure and guidance during group sessions.
  • Maintain calm and direction during difficult conversations.
  • Foster trust and belonging among group members.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Report to the Clinical Director.

Group Facilitator

Schedules:

  • Tuesday-Friday, every other weekend

Compensation:

  • $50k + Benefits (Vision, Medical, Dental, 401K, Paid Time Off, Family Leave)

Our company operates Residential Treatment Programs for individuals with Substance Abuse Disorder. Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Report directly to the Clinical Director
Qualifications
  • BS/BA or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or equivalent field
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical role preferred
  • Experience in chemical dependency or addiction treatment preferred
  • Authorization to work in the US required
  • Passion for substance abuse recovery and supporting patients in achieving their full potential
  • Commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential
