The Horsham Clinic is seeking energetic, creative and mission-focused Expressive Arts Therapists

The ideal candidate should have experience in any of the following:

  • Dance Therapy

The Expressive Arts Therapist is an active member of the treatment team and is responsible for developing individualized interventions to assist patients in meeting their treatment goals. The Expressive Arts Therapist is also responsible for providing a variety of group therapies consistent with the clinical needs of the population and the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic.

Qualifications

What We Want to See from You! (Job Requirements/Preferred Skills):

  • Combination of Bachelor’s Degree and Certification in above mentioned therapies OR Master’s Degree and qualifying experience required
  • Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred
  • Knowledge of individual/group/family therapies, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management
  • Knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities
  • Ability to plan, direct, and monitor other activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment
  • Flexibility for float reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting
  • Must be a team player and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
