Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Group Exercise / Personal Trainer to lead safe, engaging group fitness classes and provide excellent customer service. The role requires CPR certification and focuses on wellness knowledge, safety, and effective class management to motivate Wellness Center members.

You will ensure safety, assist in emergencies, and support coworkers by attending and substituting classes when possible. This is an hourly, on-site position at our Wellness Center.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Strong wellness knowledge and excellent communication skills to provide high quality customer service.
• Ability to manage group fitness classes effectively and motivate members.

The Group Exercise/Personal Trainer at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for providing a great Wellness Center experience for members by leading safe and engaging group fitness classes. This role requires CPR certification and engages strong wellness knowledge and excellent communication skills to provide high quality customer service, manage group fitness classes effectively, and motivate Wellness Center members to engage and enjoy the Wellness Center experience.

• Ensures excellent customer service by providing quality group exercise classes to the members.
• Takes responsibility for the safety, security and well- being of class members.
• Possesses ability to identify and handle emergencies.
• Maintains updated, proficient teaching skills that are motivating, challenging, safe and enjoyable.
• Supports other coworkers by attending their classes and substituting when possible.
