The Northside Family YMCA, part of the YMCA of Greater Richmond, is seeking a part-time group exercise instructor to teach Barre classes at our Richmond, VA facility. This role focuses on delivering engaging, safe Barre sessions for members and fostering a welcoming, inclusive fitness environment.
Qualified candidates hold a current nationally recognized group exercise certification along with CPR, AED and First Aid. Evening and some weekend availability is preferred to meet member needs.
The Northside Family YMCA is currently seeking part time enthusiastic, group exercise instructors to teach our Barre classes! Group Exercise Instructor pay range is $20-$23 per hour and Advance Group Exercise Instructor pay range is $27-$31 per hour based on qualifications & certifications.
DUTIES of a Group Exercise Instructor (Barre)
Group exercise instructors should be able to work flexible hours to meet members' needs, including evenings and some weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS of a Group Exercise Instructor (Barre)
Group exercise instructors must hold a current, nationally recognized group exercise certification (documentation required) along with current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
