Responsibilities

• Instruct group spinning classes, maintaining safety and pacing.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage class attendees.
• Assist new attendees with bike setup and proper adjustments.

Job description

Job Description: Includes but is not limited to:

• Instruction: Instruct a group exercise spinning (Cycling) class using verbal and non-verbal cues in a clear and timely manner. Must create own class fitness routines (pre-designed program) and have your own music. Must be able to maintain good pacing throughout the class and use clear and easy to follow directions following spinning (cycling) fitness principles.
• Safety: While instructing class, must stay focused on safety of all class attendees. Must slow/break down moves for different fitness levels of participants, encourage proper form and give corrective feedback to class attendees.
• Customer Service: Greet class attendees. Communicate workout specific knowledge throughout the class, use inspirational/motivational communication, connect/check in with class attendees during the class, thank people for coming to the class and insure that your class is an experience that the attendees look forward to.
• Bike Assistance: Must be able to set up new attendees on bike and explain proper bicycling tensions, settings and height adjustments.

Job Requirements:

Mandatory:Cycling Certification required

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, sit, bend and move legs to propel bike pedals at various speeds the entire class period and perform fitness routine to demonstrate your physical fitness. This includes using proper form the entire class period, maintaining your proper form the entire class period and being a cardio fitness role model.
• Bending, stooping, squatting, walking, reaching below knees, and reaching overhead for part of the class.
• Must be able to observe entire class for safety purposes.
