Job summary

SOL, part of Alliance Physical Therapy Partners, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join a clinician-led team in Oakland. You will provide patient-centered orthopedic care, build strong patient relationships, and collaborate across staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes tailored treatment plans, compassionate care, and opportunities for advanced mentorship and leadership within a supportive clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed (or license-eligible) Physical Therapist with active credential.
• Commitment to patient-first, compassionate care and professional growth.
• Ability to collaborate with PTs, technicians, and clinic staff.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with evidence-based plans of care.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with patients.
• Collaborate with PTAs and staff in a teamwork-focused environment.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment for long-term outcomes.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and referral sources.

What Your Day Will Look Like

Your day is designed around patient‑first, relationship‑driven care—not volume for volume’s sake.

The Group Director is responsible for efficient management of the clinical services, operations, clinic growth and staff development of outpatient orthopedic clinics. The Group Director will maximize growth by assuring the highest quality therapy services and consistently initiating direct marketing to sustain and develop referral sources. Success will be measured not only by meeting revenue, profit, growth and compliance goals, but also by relationships built with the staff, patients, and referral sources, as well as the clinical training and development staff. The Group Director will be clinical and administration.

• Evaluate and treat patients using individualized, evidence‑based plans of care
• Build trusted relationships with patients through meaningful one‑on‑one care
• Collaborate with PTAs, technicians, and clinic staff in a respectful, team‑oriented environment
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support long‑term outcomes
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and referral sources
• Complete documentation efficiently using AgileRPM
• Support students or teammates through mentorship and leadership when appropriate
