Do you have experience leading students in fun, energizing classes that help them improve their technique, fitness, and self-confidence?

If so, we would love for you to bring your talent and experience to our team as a Dance Instructor!

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead dance classes designed for all skill levels.
  • Create fun choreography that motivates attendees and that allows them to express themselves.
  • Build strong relationships with your participants and help them in their fitness journey.
  • Provide guidance on proper form, techniques, and modifications to ensure a safe and effective workout experience for all skill levels.
  • Additional tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must obtain First Aid; CPR/AED, within 30 days of hire date.
  • Fitness Certification or valid certification for the specific class(es) assigned.
  • Six (6) months of formal fitness or classroom teaching, or related experience; or, an equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Provide courteous and efficient service to the public and in responding to inquiries, complaints and requests in a fair, tactful and firm manner.
  • Able to develop fitness routines that incorporate music, tempo, cueing techniques, rhythm, and choreography.
  • Able to develop and implement fitness classes appropriate to the class description and ability level of participants.
  • Supervise multiple games and activities simultaneously.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Operate basic computer programs.
  • Able to write reports and fill out forms.
  • Use critical thinking and judgement while assessing situations.
