Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, IN is seeking Group Facilitators for our detox and residential facility to guide group therapy and support clients on the recovery journey.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, document sessions, and help clients build coping skills while modeling recovery principles in a respectful, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure to practice as a clinician in this state.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in the treatment industry preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety period is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
• Strong presence, sound judgement and experience in running groups.
• Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client's challenges and needs.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools.
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to keep track of client challenges and progress.
• Escalate any significant client concerns to Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting is completed.

Now Hiring Group Facilitators for our newest Detox and Residential treatment facility in South Bend, IN.

What You'll Do
