Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for the Group Coordinator Lead - Inventory Control Clerk in Fort Worth, TX. This position is a hands-on, on-site role with a 4:00 pm–2:00 am shift and $21.75 per hour plus a 1.00 shift diff.

You will maintain accurate inventory, assign schedules, and train associates on the warehouse floor. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of warehousing/inventory experience, plus knowledge of SAP or other WMS and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in inventory control, prioritizing, scheduling and cycle counts.
• Experience coordinating tasks across inbound and inventory control departments.
• Experience using a commercial WMS (Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on warehouse role with extensive standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of an inventory control clerk.
• Conduct training for new associates.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Monitor performance of associates.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required.
• Ensure accurate accounting of and disposition of all defective or damaged product.

A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the following:

• Prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks for assigned department including cycle counting and also adjustments.
• Coordinating tasks and schedules across all departments, including inbounds, Inventory Control.
• Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
• Microsoft Office software, including Excel is required.
• This is a hands‑on role that is spent most of shift out on the warehouse floor and moving to and from multiple areas of the building to include extended period of standing and walking.

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by verifying all orders received and shipped

Assigns work schedules, trains associates in processes and monitor’s associates’ progress

Key Accountabilities

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 months warehousing and inventory experience
• Working knowledge of SAP inventory system
