Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Wichita, KS is hiring for a Group Coordinator Lead on 1st shift, paying $21.40 per hour. The role leads a team in workflow allocation across receiving, put-away, inventory, and shipping, acting as the first contact for associates while coordinating daily tasks.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a related supply chain role, experience training staff, and 6 months with stand-up equipment such as Order Picker or Reach Truck.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a progressive role within supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution as Team Lead or Workflow Planner.
• Responsible for training associates, monitoring production, giving feedback, and assisting Supervisor.
• Minimum 6 months experience operating stand-up material handling equipment including Order Picker and Reach Truck.

Responsibilities

• Move, stock, stage, and store products using high lift reach equipment.
• Stock and store merchandise in correct areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment with exact counts and types.
• Keep records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Follow OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Report quality variances and maintain equipment in clean, orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories and stock rotation.
• Operate beyond standard forklift equipment when needed.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead and manage the workflow and work duty allocation for team members within an assigned department of the facility to include: Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping / Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting areas.
• This is a working-lead role. You will work alongside your team while being the initial point of contact for associates.

Shift: 1st shift
Pay: $21.40 per hour

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• A minimum of 3+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires making decisions and leading other associates in their daily tasks.
• The role reports directly to the Supervisor and will be responsible for training associates, monitoring production, giving constructive feedback to the associates, providing training to new associates, and assisting the Supervisor to ensure highest customer standards.
• A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required. This position requires safe and efficient operation of a stand-up Order Picker and Reach Truck and first preference will be given to applicants with this experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.

Role Purpose

Responsible for supporting and leading specified group of individuals in the warehouse/clerical setting.

Provides daily direction and guidance to the work group.

Trains new associates in identified work group.

Key Accountabilities

• Moving, stocking, staging, and storing products and materials using high lift reach equipment, narrow isle equipment, utilizing electronic wire-guided systems where installed.
• Efficiently stock and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is correct.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Report quality variances.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.
• Extend to higher levels than on normal forklift equipment.

Required Education and Experience

• 6 months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
