Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Group Coordinator Lead on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM). The role leads a team in warehouse operations, assigns work, trains associates, and ensures safe, efficient daily workloads. Base pay is $21.50/hr with a $1 shift differential and $1.50 surge pay, totaling $24/hour.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in a related supply chain role, forklift experience, and HS diploma. Certifications and experience with stand-up equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a progressive role within supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution as a Team Lead or similar.
• Responsible for training, monitoring production and providing feedback to associates.
• Experience operating stand‑up equipment preferred; other equipment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage workflow and duty allocation for team members across Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping/Pack-out, Staging, and Order Selecting.
• Serve as working lead and initial point of contact for associates.
• Train new associates and monitor progress to ensure high customer standards.
• Open/close and secure the building as directed and report unsafe conditions.

• Lead and manage the workflow and work duty allocation for team members within an assigned department of the facility to include: Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping / Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting areas.
• This is a working-lead role. You will work alongside your team while being the initial point of contact for associates.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• A minimum of 3+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires making decisions and leading other associates in their daily tasks.
• The role reports directly to the Supervisor and will be responsible for training associates, monitoring production, giving constructive feedback to the associates, providing training to new associates, and assisting the Supervisor to ensure highest customer standards.
• A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating stand‑up material handling equipment is required. This position requires safe and efficient operation of a stand‑up Order Picker and Reach Truck and first preference will be given to applicants with this experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit‑down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.

Role Purpose

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads.

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct training for new associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Required Education and Experience

• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• 6-12 months forklift operation experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
